St John Episcopal Church

Meditation Garden

The Meditation Garden is an outreach to the community of Bandon. It is curbside, replacing a lawn, and features many rhododendrons and roses. Anyone who wishes to may stop and rest, and there are many visitors.

Rummage Sales

ECW has rummage sales each year which fund several outreach projects.

Community Service Outreach

St John's contributes to several Bandon service projects, especially to Good Neighbors Food Bank. Our drop-off station is the bin in the narthex, to which you may add canned goods and other factory-wrapped food items. Food Bank officials pick up the food from several contributing churches and distribute it on the first Tuesday of each month at 9am from their building in City Park.

EAT (Everybody at Table) serves a community dinner every Tuesday at 5:30pm at the Barn in City Park. Any person in the community is invited, including families and those who are alone.  EAT is funded by local churches and individuals.

The coffee pot is nearly always on.
